That A350 order is looking real nice right now.

I canceled my orders for all my 737 maxs no way I'm starting an airline with them!

Cutting costs on airplanes is crazy seriously

The biggest problem with Boeing, is that the current CEO is all profit. Constantly cutting corners to cheap out on the build quality.

The biggest problem for Boeing is the public losing confidence in the brand. A real life example, more and more people around us are careful not to book a flight on a MAX. And we are just a couple of guys living in France. This is further boosted by the issues the planes have faced, the profit-centered CEO of Boeing and the continuous reporting of quality control issues from whistleblowers. We, for instance, wouldn't step onto any recently-built Boeing plane. No way.

I’m still amazed boeing keeps digging their own grave deeper at this point.

Imagine if Boeing actually hired an engineer to run the company and not some accountant with zero engineer knowledge

The 737 and a321 are narrow body planes.
The a350 and 787 are wide-body planes.
You don't just replace one with the other. It would be like replacing a pickup truck with a semi.

Whatever United replaces their Max order with, it is NOT going to be a 350 or 787. I can promise you that.

When they put price before our safety they will lose customers. They don't deserve our business.

A nearby neighbour just walked off of a plane when the airline swapped a Boeing in place of an Airbus. He made the booking specifically because it was an Airbus.

Boeing Suits: “The beatings will continue until quality and morale improves!”

Boeing already lost loyal costumers. One of them is KLM. Maybe it is due to the fleet commonality with Air France, but I think the fiasco with the Max back in 2019 and it's grounding has pushed it further.

I think the only option would be the A321NEO if they were to drop the MAX10 orders with the already existing order for 120. I do want to know how they will eventually replace their A319’s and A320’s from the pre-merger days.

Boeing is not losing anything, this is just talk to give United a better discount on future orders

I took a poll of 50 of my contacts, all frequent business travellers. Of these 50, 37 (including me), have decided never to fly on a Boeing 737 Max - of any variant. This plane is a flawed design, build badly with substandard quality control. It’s a death trap and the Max program should be scrapped altogether.

I live in Australia and am so glad no airlines have the Max. Qantas have started to accept A220 neos, nice aircraft,

United and Alaska need to search for ex-boeing or ex-spirit aerospace employees to be quality inspectors to observe production with cell phones to send images to email addresses for each hull number. So quality can be proven.

An a330neo integration into United wouldn’t be that difficult for them since they already fly the a320 family, including the 321neo. But I highly doubt they’d buy any

I have said it before & I will say it again; I will never step foot on a 737 max regardless of its type! 🛑🧠
