You're so honest about the OSCP exam! I've seen so many videos where some "Gurus" try to overcomplicate things. They recommend every course and book under the sun. I haven't taken the exam yet, but based on my other CS certifications, what YouTubers recommend is overwhelming, and I didn't find anything useful in the exam other than the prep course.

alguien sabe si haciendo el examen puedo tener notas abiertas, es decir yo tengo un libro literalmente hecho por mi de todo lo que he visto en el camino y pues son mis notas personales de todo lo aprendido, puedo tener ese documento abierto?es un word que voy a pasar a obsidian pronto para que se vea mas bonito, a veces se por donde van los tiros pero no recuerdo algo y veo mis notas y generalmente salgo demi rabbit hole

I think the reason why there's no proper walkthrough on how you are expected to hack the machine is because "when someone asked you to hack a system, you do your own thing. Do what your best at. No need to adapt a technique which is new to you".
