This is so sick and sad. As a father and grandfather, this is my worst nightmare. As horrific as this is, as least they are not left wondering where she is and what's happening to her. You honor Athena with a speedy trial and life in prison for Horner with big hairy guys who don't take 'no' for an answer. Even if it was 'just' a hit and run, the running makes him a coward who deserves the max punishment for that 'petty' crime. If he violated her, fry him.

This is so sad...and creepy. The FedEx driver? You automatically trust Mail Carriers, FedEx and UPS Drivers because they have such responsible jobs. They have had background checks. You just never know what is in another person's mind!

As a former fedex driver that delivered to rural areas you would see kids waving or had so much trust in you talking to you without any supervision around. So you know in this case she was probably so trusting in this guy seeing him come by time and time again. Then him doing this horrible thing to her. Things will change with every delivery driver not just fedex. Sad that hiding your kids from people will be the normal thing now

"So the story is now, that he hit her with his truck and panicked, apparently there is video. Either way he didn’t help her, and hid her body. With help she could still be alive. I know this guy, and he’s not the smartest guy in the world, but he definitely knows right from wrong.."
