I have a suggestion, make a video about those supernovas which we can see in the day light as well. Thank you Anton for amazing videos

Canopus: "I'm the second brightest star in the night sky and brightest in carina!"
Eta carinae: "hold my rings"

So basically:
Eta Carinae System a long time ago was composed of Eta Carinae A and B, B is bigger and more massive than A, B reached its next phase before A which made it bigger in radius and closer to A, A slowly consumed B's outer layers caused by the small distance, this eventually caused A to be huge and B to become tinier and tinier as time passed until it reached its current form, the sudden increase in power of A created lots of solar winds that pushed B away until it reached a point where A didn't take mass from B anymore, however, the increased gravitational pull of A put Eta Carinae C into orbit, and it was getting closer, even more closer until its orbit passed quite close to A which in turn made C's mass be taken by A, hundreds of close encounters later and C finally broke apart making a beautiful Accretion Disk on A, then later, because of the instability of the Accretion Disk, it ignited, creating a HUGE supernova inside the Accretion Disk, this explosion was so large it created a whole Nebula, named Homunculus Nebula, and Eta Carinae A and B still orbit together in the center of it

anton you should talk about this unusual star called VFTS 352

Another suggestion: Put some of the facts as overlay-information into the videos, like "This star has xx solar masses" or "distance to earth is about xxx lightyears". Could help to follow the sheer amount of informations you give. Anyway, thank you for another interesting video!

Anton wouldn't have happen 7000 yrs ago not 170 years, it would have taken 7000 yrs for the light to have traveled, for us to see it?really love your channel!

Why did the nebula explosion cause a double lobe feature though? two perfectly identical bipolar features suggests additional forces outside the simple explosion hypothesis. Eta Carinae is a typical case of a stellar pinch phenomena by Birkeland currents.

Anton: It will only be visible in the Southern Hemisphere, but will be one of the brightest events and remain visible for quite some time
Me: Nice1
Anton: We think it will happen anytime between today....
Me: Sweet
Anton:....and 3 million years...
Me: need multi-vitamins

I am interested in finding the photo you used to depict The ‘Great Eruption’ was recorded 1837-58 credit Paul Haese. Can you possibly direct me on this or possibly send me the link? I’ve tried to google, but cannot seem to find the image you used.

My problem with that theory is, if EC 3 had collapsed into a ring, where would it have gotten the gravitational, and nuclear energy to explode the way it did? Why would a ring explode? Why wasn't the ring absorbed by EC 1 the same way the outer envelope of EC 2 was? Is it possible that the observed explosion couldn't have been some kind of extreme Cepheid-like type of expansion?

Can we have a video about why Venus still has an atmosphere and that our sun hasnt radiated it away?

Every time someone clicks "like" an Eta Carinae-like event happens out there somewhere in the universe.

Will the Eta Carinae stars swap envelopes again?
