TSH is the thyroid stimulating hormone. The average TSH range is 0.2 - 6.1. My TSH number was 177.22!!!
My parents were surprised that I had not complained about some of the other symptoms, but as a teenager I’ll admit that I wasn’t listening to my body and had only noticed the exhaustion, being cold, and irregular periods.
I was prescribed daily Synthroid and began the process of trying to figure out the right dosage, with blood work every 3 months, and at the time I did a little research on Hypothyroidism, but not as much as I should have.
