I have Hashimoto’s, and my TSH was 13 (found out while TTC bc I had horrible periods and was tired all the time). I got pregnant after taking levothyroxine for two weeks, and now I’m firmly in the the second trimester. My doctors have been amazing, and I’m so grateful so finally feel healthy/normal again.

This video literally taught me more about my thyroid than we learned in paramedic school. Thank you!

Haven’t watched this video yet but I am already thanking you ❤️😊 can’t wait to watch it.
Have had Hashimoto for 12 years now, suffered 5 losses between October 2020 and November 2021. 2 chemicals, 2 blighted ovum, but the 3rd one was all ok until week 11 when we found out we had a missed miscarriage at 8.4 weeks. We will never know what happened but I have a feeling that the reason is because my thyroid levels were never checked during those 2 months. I gained wait at that time, I was home because of the lockdown and I believe my medication should have been adjusted (in fact a doctor did even lower the dose just before finding out we were pregnant!). Currently trying again under Recurrent Miscarriage specialists supervision.

About 6 months ago I got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I take levothyroxine. My dosage was upped to 75mg as 50 wasn't doing the job. I've noticed a significant weight gain since the dosage was upped in Dec. Also mentally dealing with 2 early mcs. I absolutely love your videos, thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Thank you for posting this. I had a hemithyroidectomy a year ago because of my cancer. We are TTC and I’m pretty nervous and hoping it won’t effect my conception journey too much.

This is so important! My question is: why don't doctors prescribe levothyroxine for SCH for women TTC? I had my TSH levels checked 3x last year, and it was above 2.5 every time. My PCP, OB/GYN, and REI have not thought it necessary to treat. Having been TTC for several years now and in my 2nd IUI cycle, I am wondering whether my thyroid is part of the big picture on why I haven't been able to get pregnant yet.

Can you talk about prolactin levels and how they can affect fertility? I was diagnosed with hyperprolactinemia.

Thank you for all your wonderful videos! I recently found out I am pregnant. My doctor did blood tests on me at 4 weeks, found out I have hypothyroidism. I am now on armour thyroid medication. I've only been on it for three days now. My doctor says its safe for me and the baby, are there any side effects I should be worried about?

Please also mention desiccated thyroid medication. It works better for a lot of thyroid patients who need replacement or boosted thyroid levels (it's got t3 & t4).

My husband takes calcium channel blockers for blood pressure. We have been trying to conceive for 3 months and was wondering if this medication affects fertility. His heart doctor says no but I’m not so sure. Thanks

My TSH levels are very low at 0.01 mU/L could this be playing a big factor in why I’m not getting pregnant? I have regular cycles

Hello doc, I decided to go for ivf, after 2.5 years of TTC. The first step here they do is a pipelle biopsy to rule out endometrial pathology. I got chronic endomitritis twice on pipelle. Please make a video on its causes and treatment. What are my chances of a successful ivf if I have chronic endomitritis.

I’m 41 years of age and we are praying for a child and have not been able to conceive yet. Do I need to worry about my thyroid levels?

Can you please do a video on Adenomyosis? I’ve been diagnosed and I’m going on month 15 of TTC (I also have PCOS). IVF success rates? Does adenomyosis actually affect fertility?
