Spotted the Tesla test vehicle with Luminar lidar and external radars.

Caught another glimpse of the Tesla test vehicle (confirmed by Tesla’s CA Manufacturer plate 63277) with Luminar lidar and radars on the exterior of the vehicle’s roof. I was reaching from a rear passenger seat to film, so I was only able to get a short clip of this Tesla on 280 N. Super neat to see Tesla out testing!

they are traning the ml visual perception with the lidar so the camera output will be same as the lidar one

Doesn't it look like just the front plate of luminar lidars? strange. the combination of lidar/radar might mean they are really testing the radars for information quality, which could maintain minimal vision in even the densest rural blizzards which lidar cannot.
