This video shows how I park in the same spot every night with my Tesla in the city without a reserved parking spot. ( I use my two old Nissan LEAFs and the space that I can hog up from the back of my neighbors car)

I charge out my Kitchen window at 240V, usually 2X a week, 5 hours each time.

These videos show every step I take to move my cars 2X a week for the Street Sweeper and how I reposition them when I leave with my Tesla:

Thanks,

When I was in the city there would be the same cars hogging spots. I worked full time and had an hour commute to go 6 miles. spent up to an hour sometimes searching for a spot. So glad I don’t live in that shithole anymore.

So you have an extra car only to keep your parking space free?

🤷‍♂️ In the UK, we call them knobheads. I have a customer who refuses to believe his head gasket blew because he starts and stops his car to move yards. Then he bought an ev. Someone keeps cutting the wires. Annoyed neighbor? Probably, I had his neighbour come in after "knobhead" bumped his car and took a chunk out of the bumper.

I'd rather live in hell than in a city like this

It should be illegal to build new buildings in the city, without a parking garage beneath, with the capacity for as many as is estimated to use the building.

Me living next to a parking lot where nobody parks his car. So every single day I can pick one of the 30 spot's. But I have a favorite one

when i moved to my new flat, my landlord told me where exactly i should park my car on the street. since then i noticed that every neigbour has his own inofficial spot that is well respected by everybody. i love and hate it at the same time. because when you have a guest or some random dude is parking there, the whole concept is failing and people get mad. but most of the times my space is free and i can park directly in front of my flat.

I'm happy that you're not my neighbour. That's very disrespectful for community. Imagine a world where everyone did the same as you, meaning, double the cars, double the pollution (YES making a car pollutes and demand lots of resources). There would be no space to park at all. You're solving YOUR problem by creating problems to OTHERS.

i remember in seattle on greek row there was like 4 blocks of free parking the city forgot to zone off, and I would put my car in neutral and put a rag on my bumper and push my car very slowly into other cars without scraping them inorder to get in and out of impossibly tight parking spots. everyones car gets broken into and i lived in a 6x8 box (jail cells are 6x9 mind you), in a 2 bedroom slum house that was turned into an 18 bedroom nightmare with running water only on the basement level. kept my car there for 2 years while using it as a storage space and never got broken into because i put a layer of trash on top of an old blanket and made it look disgusting to dig through on top. lol

I live out of major city and I have two parking bays at back of house from side street and 5 parking bays (2 with canopy) on front and side, and a single garage. Then there are a bunch of empty parking spots on side road too. I don't miss city life.

I was born and raised in a small town in Texas right outside of Dallas. Sometimes I need to drive into the city for certain things, and it blows my mind what you city folks put up with on a daily basis. You guys worry about little things like where to park, traffic, or locking the door when you leave home.
