Hey guys,
In this tutorial I will show you how to use runtime virtual texturing in UE4. It works in UE5 too and it is a very great method for blending assets because this technique supports cast shadows.

Thank you so much. I have been through tons of tutorials and I was unable to get my material to work. You have shown me how to do it in a very simple way. cheers 🍻 🍀

What would the reason be that when everything is compiled my color is black instead of the landscape material, in this case yellow? When I go to change the object 'material>virtual texture>virtual texture content=world height' it will not allow me to compile the object material with the 'runtime virtual texture sample' with the virtual texture content set to 'base, normal, roughness, specular', I see that you leave yours this way but mine will not work and suggest I also set this to world height. Any insight is well appreciated!
