Giving Blender 3.5 geometry nodes hair a play

Hi !
I wanted to try out the new hair system in Blender 3.5 and what can I say... it's fantastic !!! This video is a little breakdown of two hair styles I did. My apologies, but I don't often record videos, so it is probably quite of a mess.

Here is the .blend file with those examples:

Definitely go to the official Blender Youtube channel and check out the walkthrough for these new hair nodes:

than xgen with its constant crashes :)

I didn't understand much, hair is really something I can't do, but a good point for the video, this one doesn't last 5 minutes like the previous ones I've seen, well I keep looking.

This is amazing!
Have you considered a full groom tutorial? I would pay for something like that.
Tbh the result really looks like something made in Xgen.
Thanks for sharing <3

Can I ask you a question about your video?
01:42 / 02:02 in the video > Geometry's green line changes to two.
It is directly connected to Geometry of Group Output and shows the result.
What hotkey can I do like you?
No matter how much I try to figure it out, I don't know.

And how to get the green line back to 1?
Please let me know~...This is a very important part.
thank you for the good video

Amazing video🙂. How do you manage to not have hair appearing in the mesh after using interpolate hair node? My hair guides are fine, but after using interpolate hair some hair appear inside the mesh, using "Follow Surface Normal" does not seem to help. THANKS

Hello. I've modeled the hair and added fluff, but I want to separate the fluff from the main hair to reduce the thickness of the hair, as can be done

How can I use this new hair system in an animation production? How do I do a physical simulation with this new system?

at 15:12, the Switch integer node has a second output, where does that go? Thank you.

Does anyone know how to fix the width of the hair? It apears like tubes rather than hair and I cant find any solution. Thanks in advance

hello, I'm a beginner at geometry nodes and I need some help...
when I try to replicate the example at 18:09 (breaking parallel lines),
for some reason blender ignores the hair curve noise node, I can put the factor to 0 or delete it from the nodes and nothing changes, it is reading the new guides just not the noise...
I did download the file, and it seems to me I am replicating the example 1 to 1 but I must be doing something wrong... anyone have any idea?

EDIT:
it appears to me that the create guide index node is modified and that seems to be the reason the hair noise node make a difference in his setup and not in mine...
being a beginner as of this moment it's a little bit beneath my skill to understand the node tree, but maybe someone more expert will find this info useful.
