Love the pool noodle hack and the rest. Take the black and white part of a newspaper and lay in the bottom of a garbage bag and no smell. I've been using this hack since diaper days. Blew my mind how great it worked. Love you NataLee.

Just something my dad passed on to me about dusting. I have 9 ft ceilings and he said to get a new unused paint roller and roll your walls and ceilings. It works for me. ❤

Great tips! I have always used essential oils or fragrance oils from Walmart in a spray bottle with water on my mattress to help keep spiders and other insects from trying to move in under or in my bed. I use the small water bottle from $1.25 Tree fill with water and put about 8-10 drops of oil in it. This works great to spray on patio furniture too. Citrus scents and Eucalyptus are my go to scents. I'm not a fan of Lavender, but I do put inexpensive lavender dryer sheets in vase like sconces that have faux hanging greenery on my patio and replace monthly to keep pests away. Just some 2 cents from me. Lol

HI Natalie! Hope I spelled that right. I really love that first hack. Thx for the tip! I'll be doing that one too now.
Before I forget, I do have a hack for you. I know you like to work with wood and you might already know this but here goes.
If you ever strip a screw and cant get it to back out, just cut a rubber band in half, put a piece right over your screw head and zip that stubborn bugger right out. Easy peasy! 😊👍 Patty

Love the hacks. Here's one I created out of necessity. As my dishwasher is filling up with dirty dishes it can get smelly. So I put used coffee grounds in a cup and set it in there. My dishwasher smells like a Starbucks whenever I open it. Just don't forget to remove the grounds before starting the dishwasher. 😁

Great hacks! I usually slip an old pillowcase over my broom for ceilings & high places I can't reach. You can use the spray you made for your sheets on other fabric furniture like sofa/chairs too. The pool noodle in the flatware drawer is a hack I will definitely try.

I’m 5 feet tall so I understand your pain. I bought one of the interchangeable handles and the microfiber mop head from Dollar Tree. I use this mop exclusively for dusting walls, ceilings, tops of doors and all of those other hard to reach areas. It can be washed & rinsed and hung up to dry for later use - plus, it’s not expensive to replace if necessary. I also purchased one of the DT squeeze foam mops to use exclusively for my kitchen ceiling and upper cabinets (especially after I’ve used my Instant Pot). 😃💝

I love a good tip/hack and I have tons. I’ll share 3 quick n easy. I use a washed bar towel, put a few drops of dawn, suds it up with water, wash the mirror or window and then dry it with an old tee shirt, sparkling clean. To prevent foggy mirrors in the bathroom room, I clean them with inexpensive shaving cream. Squirt it on the mirror spreading it over the mirror, then again with an old tee shirt. No foggy mirrors. For minor scratches on a mirror, (I did this on an antique mirror and it worked) I rubbed white toothpaste on the scratches, let it dry and let it dry even more, rub the toothpaste off and that’s it. Now it won’t remove the deep scratches but it does help the less invasive ones. Hope this helps someone. Great video!🙂

Awwh, the broom duster reminded me of my mom who passed last fall, we did this every year to dust the wallls and ceiling for spring cleaning when I was a little girl many moons ago, thanks for the smile and other great tips.

For the silverware drawer, use poster putty under it. Holds mine in place everyday. Also use it under the over the door hooks if they are moving around!

Great hacks, thank you! When I clean my coffee maker with vinegar and water (about 60/40 vinegar/water) I pour baking soda down the disposer and carefully pour the hot vinegar/water mixture down the drain. It really freshens up the disposer. Also, a hack to wash walls for us short people is to use an inexpensive sponge mop. Finally, try TSP cleaner to clean greasy, grimy kitchen cabinets (test first for color fastness). Wear gloves and rinse thoroughly.

Loved these! Would love to see you build some kind of outer shell for your kitchen bin. Mine is on show too and they never look that appealing :-) I've found magic eraser sponges are excellent for removing baked/burned on food on stainless steel saucepans or woks. Quicker and less messier than applying a cleaning paste!

Love your dishwashing gloves, love the foil tip for a scrubbie. You’re so fun to watch and I just love your sweetness. Love your eyeshadow and lippie too💕💕💕

I am enjoying these videos! My hack is putting a few drops of lemon juice - it can be fresh or from the bottle - into a small bowl filled with water into the microwave. You microwave it for a minute, and a lot of the crud just falls off. It may take a few times to get everything clean, but the microwave is clean and smells great, too!

Fabulous ideas as usual. For cleaning glass/mirrors I use a wet cloth with a couple of drops of Dawn dish detergent lather the mirror or glass then dry with paper towel or a clean rag… No streaks works like a champ! The best I have ever used. Cuts grease and grime & results in a shiny Streak free mirror or glass. Works especially well on car windows..And very inexpensive I might ad. Try it sometime🙂

Your aluminum foil scrubbing brush hack also works great for removing rusty spots off lawn mower handles, those metal wire racks, etc, don't even need soapy water. Also, going to pack stemware, those pool noodles cut to the length of the stem and then slit down the side and placed around the stems works great. I've shipped many pieces of stemware this way, ...so far with no breakage.

Hi. Natalie,

Love all your hints!
My favorite helpful hint came from a school janitor many years ago.
I keep my roll of garbage bags in the bottom of the garbage under the bag in use and so each time I remove the full bag, I just tear off a new bag, open it and done. The fresh bag is right where you need it !

Such a great video! The only hack I have that I can think of is a quick easy way to clean a Roman shade. It's so simple. Pull the shade completely open and spray with Woolite Pet and Odor Fabric cleaner (saturate every part) and let it completely dry before rolling it back up. I have a white one right over my sink in my kitchen and that's the quickest, easiest way I have found to clean it. Spraying the whole thing gives it a uniform clean and leaves behind no water spots.
