Volvo's commitment to a sustainable future is further strengthened by the new C40 Recharge. The electric crossover has interiors made from recycled materials, and the upholstery is not leather, but vegan. The new Volvo C40 is powered by two motors making 402bhp and 660Nm. Paired with a 78kWh battery pack, the C40 can go up to 530km on a full charge according to the WLTP cycle. Though, with 150kW DC fast charging, you can be back on the road in less than 30 minutes. And it has enough storage to fit in all the luggage you need for your vacation! While the C40 Recharge's launch is on September 4, here's Anand Mohan's first drive review of the new sustainable electric tourer from Volvo.

Volvo is the only carmaker in India to take performance of entry level cars seriously. X1 doesn’t even have as much power as this has in the front axle. GLC doesn’t even have as much power as this has in the rear axle.

That space saver tyre in the boot eating up all that space renders 413 litres practically meaningless. Great car otherwise.. as someone said below dream + practical = yehi hai.

Just a overpriced practical car. Not much bells and whistles like hyundais and Kias
