Period Symptoms VS Pregnancy Symptoms

Hormones create all types of symptoms from headaches to mood swings. There are several symptoms you may experience when you're about to get your period and if you have conceived. Some symptoms are common with the onset of a period (pms) and with early pregnancy, while others are indicative of just one occurrence.

Hi, I'm 12 dpo and I took a test yesterday and it was negative. But I've been having heavy feeling in my uterus that I haven't had before, I've been trying to conceive for 3 years. I have none of these symptoms but I've missed my period...what could be the problem

I often get cravings before my period. Not really aversions though, just the cravings. I start to crave salty foods like chips when I’m entering PMS. Indeed that and just general appetite increase are both generally the very first symptoms I get in PMS, about a week before my period sometimes a bit earlier. Then I get cramps and increased gas a few days before my period is expected to start and I’m in that uncertain zone of like "Is this cramping an early period, is it just gas pain?" and I start wearing pads for precaution in case it is an early period.
