Pengalaman Bocah 7 Tahun, Naik Pesawat Sendirian - Unccompanied Minor

Walaupun kami bisa saja terbang menggunakan maskapai penerbangan yang sama, di jam yang sama, bahkan bisa duduk di deret bangku yang sama, kami memilih untuk menggunakan dua maskapai penerbangan.
Ini adalah pengalaman pertama Al Parisha, yamg baru berusia 7 tahun, menumpang pesawat sendirian (unccompanied minor atau disingkat UM).
Sebenarnya UM adalah penerbangan yang paling aman bagi anak-anak. Karena sepanjang perjalanan, anak akan didampingi terus meneeus oleh flight attendant yang terlatih.
Bahkan anak tidak akan dilepas dari pengawasan, mulai dari boarding, ke terminal penumpang, hingga bertemu dengan pihak penjemput, sesuai dengan identitas yang diisi oleh orangtuanya dalam form unccompanied minor.
Untuk mendapat layanan ini cukup mudah, karena tata caranya persis sama seperti saat kita chek in di counter maskapai. Setelah mengetahu bahwa penumpangnya adalah anak tanpa didampingi orangtua, petugas akan meminta anda mengisi foemulir berisi identitas orangtua, identitas anak serta identitas penerima di bandara tujuan, lengkap dengan nomor telepon yang bisa dihubungi tentunya.
Setelah tiba di bandara, petugas akan mencocokan data penerima, mengambil foto penjemput beserta anak, serta memotret kartu identitas penjemput, sebagai bukti bahwa unccompanied minor, telah sampai tujuan.
