Ripple effects from Hurricane Helene are already hitting American wallets as victims wait for basic needs from the federal government. Ryan Sweet, chief U.S. economist for Oxford Economics, joined CBS News to discuss the financial downfalls brought on by the storm.

After three years of ignoring the economy, CBS is now concerned? Per this report apparently the victims of this storm are of little if any consequence. Perhaps CBS should report what's happening, or more importantly, what isn't happening on the ground than all of a sudden taking an interest in the economy.
