3 True Lockdown Horror Stories

These are three more allegedly true lockdown stories, one of which doesn't take place in a school. All of these stories were emailed to me by subscribers. None of the authors wanted their names mentioned.

Being in the bathroom during a lockdown is my worst nightmare.

I remember I had a lockdown in seventh grade one time, and all our teacher did was dim the lights and carry on with the lesson, not taking it seriously at all.
He was fired later.

When I was in fourth grade, we had a lock down. My school cares a lot about the youngest kids, which is why when we have a lockdown the principal says, “this is a lock down drill” or something like that, so little kids don’t get scared.

When the lockdown happened, we were told it was a drill. When I got home from school that day, my mom asked what happened. I told her we had a lockdown drill. She told me someone actually went inside the building.

If you are not a student or don’t work in the school, you need to check in at the main office, so they know you are not a threat to the kids’ safety, and know that you are a visitor. My school has three entrances, a visitor has to go through the main entrance, which doesn’t really exist anymore, since students and staff go in through all three entrances. The man had gone through one of the three entrances, and it was one that didn’t lead to the main office, so when the cameras caught him, the school thought he was a threat.

Turns out, *he was delivering pizza to a class that was having a party*

Those two kids in the first story are absolutely dumb to walk around the school halls during a lockdown. Then bang on the doors and talk while the shooter was in the same room.

I'm still traumatized from the time my elementary school had a multiple hour long lockdown. There was this one girl in my class who really needed to use the restroom and she couldn't hold it for multiple hours. All I need to tell you are two words. Curtain and bucket.

Now thats a true horror story.

I had a lockdown last year in 12th grade the Principal said “This is not a drill.” My teacher Miss Pineda said “GET DOWN UNDER YOUR DESKS ALL OF YOU.” I started tearing up and started crying they had to hire people to protect the school we all went to lunch and ate and the school day ended and I was terrified my sister, Willa screamed when she saw a light turn on.
