The so called free grace [perverted Grace according to Paul and Jude] movement started in the 1970's by Jack Hyles, A.Ray Stanford, Charles Ryrie, Zane Hodges, Hank Lindstrom, Curtis Hutson and Ralph Yankee Arnold They "rewrote" in essence much of scripture that, completely moved away from repenting of sin, the teaching priority of Jesus, John the Baptist Peter and Paul in essence creating a license to sin with the promise of simply believing at one point, and the promise of eternal life regardless of how you live.
They replaced Repent with Trust.
Jesus never said Trust in Him for the forgiveness of sins
Luke 24:47
And repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
The perfect laws of God that we couldn't keep so Jesus died and rose again as our sacrifice. Now we're told we must not change our mind about our sinful life's (Repent) because doing so is adding works to be under Grace.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, but that ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE.
We don't even have to obey God's law, (they call it legalizm)
1John 3:6
No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. NO ONE WHO CONTINUES TO SIN HAS EITHER SEEN HIM OR KNOWN HIM.

They teach being carnal may only cause a loss of rewards.

They say striving for Holiness is trying to do it yourself instead of trusting in the finished work of Christ.

Not only does GES preach false salvation, but a form of universal reconciliation. Zane Hodges proclaims that a person who rejects Christ unto death does not have their sins imputed against them even though they have rejected the only payment for those sins, who is Christ. Jesus tells us in the book of John that those who reject Christ are under God's WRATH. Why? Because if they reject Christ unto death they will DIE IN THEIR SINS. Wrath has to do with sin, and salvation means salvation from sin, and the only way to be saved from your sins is by faith in Christ. It really is that simple. Is it not sin that separates us from God? Is it not sin that brings condemnation, judgement, and death? And that is why Zane's false salvation is such a HUGE contradiction.

John 8:21 Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will DIE IN YOUR SIN. Where I go you cannot come.”

John 8:24 Therefore I said to you that you will DIE IN YOUR SINS; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will DIE IN YOUR SINS”

John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the WRATH OF GOD ABIDES ON HIM”

Remember what the scriptures say... "IN HIM we have redemption THROUGH HIS BLOOD, the FORGIVENESS OF SINS", and "Without the shedding of BLOOD there is NO REMISSION". The only place a person is SAVED FROM THEIR SINS is IN CHRIST. There is no "sin-free" zone outside of Christ, you have to be IN CHRIST to be saved from your sins. And the only way to be IN CHRIST is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I can assure you, without a doubt, that a person who rejects Christ has not died to the law through the body of Christ, and has not been washed in the blood of Christ. There is no "pre-wash" cycle with His blood of Christ, you are either washed in His blood, or you will die in your sins. Don't be fooled by the silver tongue of Zane's intellectual double talk. The only way to be freed from the law (power of sin) is to die with Christ by faith, and the moment we do we are IN CHRIST. The ONLY place where there is redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sin

Well our salvation WASN'T free it costed God his SON and his Son his LIFE.. so we need to have a little more reverence for the work his Father gave him for A LOT DON'T with this free grace doesn't so much in my opinion. God is full of mercy and grace in his Son and that is given out of LOVE.. Jesus said strive to enter into the straight gate and you do that by observing everything he said try to anyway.. very sound doctrine this is not many can handle sound doctrine these days can they the word of God is like doubled edged sword and on Jesus's second coming he's gonna cut many upon many down with it.

Salvation from sin only happens upon faith in Christ. Salvation means "salvation from sin". If a person rejects Christ they will die in their sins. We do not divide the gospel and hand out the sacrifice/blood apart from the resurrection. Jesus is just as much the sacrifice as He is the resurrection and the life. The moment we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, we die with Christ, are washed in His blood, and are raised and seated with Christ in the heavenlies. Don't be deceived by this new form of Universal Reconciliation that has infected the western church. The same one that is preached by GES...

I believe the best way to explain why those who reject Christ are still under God’s WRATH is by explaining the two covenants. The letter (old) and the Spirit (new). Only those who are born of the Spirit are IN CHRIST, and freed from the law (letter). These verses are crystal clear, and should leave no doubt that what Zane is teaching is a false salvation from sin. Remember what the bible says “Christ was manifest to take away our sins”, and “you call His name Jesus for He will save his people from their sins”. Sin is the problem, and Christ is the only cure! There is no salvation from sin (in any form) apart from faith in Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:6
who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the LETTER KILLS, but THE SPIRIT GIVES LIFE.

Romans 2:29
but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in THE SPIRIT, not in THE LETTER; whose praise is not from men but from God.

Romans 7:6
But now we have been delivered from the LAW, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of THE SPIRIT and not in the oldness of the LETTER.

In these verses we clearly see that the two covenants are of the Law and the Spirit. So which one of these covenants is by grace?

Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are NOT UNDER LAW but UNDER GRACE.

Matthew 26:28
For this is MY BLOOD of the NEW COVENANT, which is shed for many for the REMISSION OF SINS.

Ephesians 1:7
IN WHOM we have redemption THROUGH HIS BLOOD, the forgiveness of sins, according to the RICHES OF HIS GRACE;

Now let's take a look at why those who reject Christ are under God's wrath and not under grace.

John 8:24
Therefore I said to you that you will DIE IN YOUR SINS; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will DIE IN YOUR SINS.”

John 3:36
He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the WRATH OF GOD ABIDES ON HIM.”

Romans 4:15
because THE LAW brings about WRATH; for where there is NO LAW there is NO TRANSGRESSION.

Romans 5:13
For until the law sin was in the world: but SIN IS NOT IMPUTED when there is NO LAW.

Rom 10:4
Christ is the END OF THE LAW for righteousness to everyone WHO BELIEVES

Therefore THE LAW WAS OUR TUTOR to bring us to Christ, that we might be JUSTIFIED BY FAITH. But after FAITH has come, we are NO LONGER UNDER A TUTOR.

There is only one way to die to the old (law) and be born of the Spirit (new) and that is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. To die to the law is to die to sin, and those who are free from the law are no longer under God’s wrath. Like the verse above says “Sin is not imputed when there is no law”. So how does a person die to the law? By faith in Christ! Rom 10:4 “Christ is the END OF THE LAW for righteousness to everyone WHO BELIEVES”. To who? Only those who believe! So why are their sins still imputed against those who reject Christ? Because they have rejected the end of the LAW, who is CHRIST! They have not died to the law by faith in Christ!

Romans 7:1-2
Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the HUSBAND DIES, she is RELEASED FROM THE LAW of her husband.

Romans 7:4
Therefore, my brethren, you also have become DEAD TO THE LAW through the BODY OF CHRIST, that you may be MARRIED TO ANOTHER—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God

Romans 10:4
For CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW for righteousness to EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES.

Romans 6:5-11
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was CRUCIFIED WITH HIM, that the BODY OF SIN might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For HE WHO HAS DIED has been FREED FROM SIN. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be DEAD INDEED TO SIN, but ALIVE TO GOD IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

Colossians 1:21-22
And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled IN THE BODY OF HIS FLESH THROUGH DEATH, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

Summary:
A person is either under the law (letter) or under grace. There is no in-between. Sin is not imputed when there is no law. When a person believes in the Lord Jesus Christ they die to the law through the body of Christ and are married to another. They must first die to the old to be born of the Spirit. The Spirit is of the New Covenant and the letter is of the Old. The law (letter) brings wrath because NO ONE can fulfill its righteous requirements. But we have a blessed hope in all this hopelessness. We have the Lamb of God who is the end of the law for righteousness for everyone who believes. He was the only one who could fulfill these requirements, and those requirements were met when this righteous lamb of God was crucified on a lonely hill called Calvary. So those who reject Christ are under God’s wrath because they are still under the law, therefore still under the condemnation of sin. Their sins are still counted against them because they have rejected the end of the law.. Who is CHRIST JESUS… WHO DIED FOR ALL!!

Eternal life is not contingent upon keeping the gospel in memory. Keeping the gospel in memory is a work. Eternal life is not received by our works. Scripture is abundantly clear concerning this. You misunderstand 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 because you wrest it out of context. Shame on you!

Jesus subsumed the Ten Commandments under the commands to perfectly love both God and neighbor. Commandments 1-4 regards our vertical relationship with God, and Commandments 5-10 regards our horizontal relationships with other people.

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matthew 22:37-40 KJV‬

What many don't realize is that the commandment to love both God and neighbor is LAW. And we all fail to keep God's laws, which is the point Jesus wants to make. The Bible says....

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. ‭Romans 3:23 KJV‬

We have ALL failed miserably to keep God's commandments, and no amount of law-keeping after the fact can erase our moral failures. We are ALL guilty in God's court. We all have a sin debt that we can not pay, and God must judge each of us by our sins.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
‭Ecclesiastes 12:14 KJV‬

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.‭ Matthew 25:46 KJV‬

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.‭ Revelation 20:15 KJV‬
‭The Good News is that Jesus Christ paid for ALL of our sins, and the record of ALL sins is expunged for ALL sinners, even the worst of sinners.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. ‭John 1:29 KJV‬
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. ‭Colossians 2:13-14 KJV‬

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.‭ 2 Corinthians 5:20-21 KJV‬
Jesus took away the sins of the world as the Bible clearly says. Therefore, we can NEVER be condemned by our sins because Jesus paid the debt. The gift of eternal life is available for everyone who BELIEVES on Jesus, His death burial, and resurrection from the dead for the forgiveness of sins. We are saved when we take God at His Word that the free gift of eternal life by believing on Jesus, and we receive the gift by faith in Jesus. That's what the Bible says.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3: 14-16 ‭

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. John 5:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

There is one sin that can not be forgiven, and that is the sin of UNBELIEF. When we don't take God at His Word that we are saved by faith in Jesus Christ apart from the works of the law, then we are committing the sin of UNBELIEF. And anyone who does not BELIEVE on Jesus Christ for their salvation is simply put, an UNBELIEVER.

Sinners won't end up in Hell because of their sins, because Jesus paid the sin debt for all sinners. They will end up in Hell because they didn't BELIEVE on Jesus Christ. If you don't believe God's clear Word that we are saved by faith in Jesus apart from our own efforts to save ourselves, our "works", then you are an UNBELIEVER, pure and simple.

Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. Galatians 2:16

God made salvation so simple that we only need to believe in Jesus to receive God's gift of salvation. That's the simplicity that is in Christ. False teachers want to pervert the Gospel and complicate things with all of kinds of demands for repentance from sins and obedience in order to be saved, and saying that changes in a person's behavior are proofs that a person is saved. That's not the Gospel. That's a false gospel that can lead people to Hell. In Matthew 7:21-23 below, notice its those trusting in their WORKS that Jesus will tell "Depart from Me". Its not those who simply believe in Jesus Christ apart from works...
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? [WORKS] and in thy name have cast out devils? [WORKS] and in thy name done many wonderful WORKS? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you who practice lawlessness". Matthew 7:21-23

What is the will of the Father spoken of in this passage? It's this....

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and BELIEVITH on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. ‭John 6:40 KJV‬

Please, repent of trying to save yourselves and believe on Jesus Christ. Jesus said "I AM THE WAY". Not by your own efforts can you be saved. Not by faith PLUS repentance from sins, not faith PLUS obedience, not faith PLUS evidence of a changed life. But only by believing on Jesus Christ.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
