Dacia Sandero Review

I had to rent a car while my C5 is getting fixed. It was a Dacia Sandero. So I tried to do a review.

The entry model Sandero Essential is a good useable car, and very reliable too. Maybe a bit basic for some, lots of the scratchy plastic that motoring journalists are obsessed with, but that just means it is easy to keep clean. It is sub £14K on the road in the UK, so still a good price overall.

The high beam forward motion command is usual for VAG group. I had a Skoda Octavia from 2003, same motion to activate the high beam. Also driven A3's and Seats from that period and they had the same motion for activating the high beam. Sadly, I cannot remember if the Dacia Logan from driving school had the same high beam motion.

Standard Sandero is made in Tunisia and the Stepway is made in Romania,

Cheap Junk. How can you say it’s really good? I wouldn’t trade my 2011 C5 Tourer Exclusive, my 2002 E46 330xi, my 2004 A4 B6 1.9 TDI AWX for any new Dacia.
