MY EXPERIENCE with this strain. So I strained my abdominal muscles in February 16 2018 by going heavy on abs. I had a bad GRADE 2 to grade 3. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t walk for 2 weeks without my abs hurting and feeling like my guts wanted to pop out of there. I went to many doctors for this... NOTHING FOR MY HELP. They told me it wasn’t really serious. I went back to the gym after a months feeling good and BAMMMM it hurts again started with a mild pain on the right side of my lower abdominal and little belly button pain. I lost all my gains and all my strength. After going back to the hospital, thank god not in much pain they told me I had a muscle strain or tear. I too two months of the the date was August the 17 2018 and went back in the gym feeling more better. Two days later went to a sports medicine doctor and told me the same thing. He told me abdominal muscles strains take a very long time to heal. So I gave another month and two weeks to heal. So far I’ve been working out now and still till this day I have a little bit muscle spasms and soreness but not how I was before. This case being said I’m now waiting for a MRI from my sports medicine doctor.

Thank goodness it’s just abdominal strains and not a hernia for me.

thank god for this video, i was so worried but i guess doing a intense ab workout after not doing anything for a year might not be too great for me 😅

Been having lower abdominal pains for a few months. Went to the doctor and they couldn’t find anything! My doctor told me I pulled my “abdomen wall” relaxed off work for one week! Finally stopped feeling the pain a day before going back to work! Thank goodness. If your feeling the pain and the doctors can’t find anything serious JUST RELAX sleep and stay in bed!

Man, I was in 10th grade when this shit happen to me. I was doing sit ups in gym, felt fine after. Next day I was in so much pain. Couldn’t move for 2 weeks. It hurt so bad, that I couldn’t keep food down. So I end up throwing everything up. Losing 13 pounds was the best thing it ever did.

Since I changed jobs and sit down more often and less active - I have suffered from this twice. Definitely once I am healed I am going to do some core exercises 3 times a weeks. I can go through this again 😫😫

I am an 18 year workout veteran of weight lifting but I developed back pain and my core got weaker.

I was sitting in a car with a friend and all I was doing it was pushing a water bottle lightly against my top right abdominal muscle in between the two and then it protruded out and I was in extreme pain and I went to shock and I thought it was my gallbladder but now I'm walking around slowly healing and I understand the value of keeping my entire body healthy like I used to physically the workout I did right before that was a 340 pound bench. The average person who does 100 sit-ups a day probably has a stronger rectus abdominis you know the front one then I do my lower back is about two or three times stronger than the average adult male but they both need to work thank you for the information I'm pretty sure it's a strain or a small tear I'm not taking over the counter medicine I'm taking a prescription used to come off of painkillers and it works for pain but it doesn't work for severe pain so if it's working for the most part I guess I'm good

The first thing I did immediately was put ice on it in Pace back and forth slowly for a few hours and the shock wore off and now I'm afraid to even move bending forward but I'm slowly getting back on the bicycle I am still too afraid to lift weights it has been 3 days max since I lifted so I'm still healing. It hurts to flex it feels like a minor grade tear, pull, strain which are all basically treated similarly I don't want to go to the hospital

I think I pulled mine doing water aerobics on vacation. I try to stay average in the work out department having a moderate amount of exercise but I think I over did myself. I felt like my stomach was ripping open but I didn't stop.... I guess I learned my lesson.

I watch my body very carefully at the first sign of even a minor strain. I change up my workout routine and rest that part of my body, while working the other parts of my body. Great plan keeps me from injury.

I have been living with abdominal stomach pain for the last 26 years,
surprisingly enough Aleve or naproxen sodium is the only thing that will control it,
I have done it all kind of analyzation to this problem including cats cans, MRI's, Endoscopy Procedure Upper GI, and there is no answer,
when it flares up on me I feel as if there's a dagger stuck in my stomach .
