Thanks for the shout-out Clint! Your enthusiasm for 3d art is amazing and the knowledge you share with everyone is really great 🙌

Something to note here is that you don't *need* an rtx card to use ray tracing in UE4. It will be much faster if you do, but it will work with a regular GPU, I use a gtx 1660 and it's low fps, but it does work to get renders.

Clint this was literally the best and most artist friendly tutorial to unreal I've ever come across. You broke it all down simply and to the point without delving into crazy technical detail. Please make a series!

The timing for this video could not be more perfect. Finally forcing myself to start using unreal.

Seriously, from one VFX artist to another, I can’t put into words how much I appreciate your tutorials, they are incredibly Well done and extremely easy to follow. If I were to start my career again, I’m sure these videos would quickly become my bible! Keep up the great work!

I relate to this intro - thank you for helping us all out, even though I’ve gotten much better over the last year, I still don’t quite grasp this software as much as I’d like.

Dude! This breakdown was so good! Can't stress enough what you said about understanding real world cameras and cinematography to get more cinematic results. This breakdown was top tier and really helped me understand your Unreal Engine workflow at the level I am at (which is really just getting started haha) Thank you for putting out this incredible content!

Thank you, Clint Nice Mocap haha! We just started making videos analysis on future projects in cities around the world ...the plan is to make them with the help of Unreal! I'm sure we will come back to this video. Thank you!

For a slight performance boost, and to keep things tidy, set any emissive materials lighting mode to ‘Unlit’.

It really encouraged me to hear that real world camera experience translates to 3d art. I am just getting started learning about 3d art, but I have a long past history of photography education and experience. Hearing that that will translate really puts my mind at ease, makes me feel like I am not making an unwise decision by spending time learning 3d art. I was worried that I had wasted all my time learning about photography if I was just going to learn about this anyway, but now I don't feel that way at all!! I am actually more excited.

Great video, I wondered why my reflections in the final render looked so bad, now I know!

Hey it's really hard to find tutorials that're actually relevant to my skill level and learning style. Just here to say this video was a god send, thank you.

I've been using Unreal for a while. I'm pretty confident with blueprints. But I really need to be able to make cinematic scenes. Also, a game I'm making needs a nightclub scene! I'm glad you're here to help!

i have a crappy 2021 macbook pro. I have never tried anything like this, and its way above the computing power i have. But, I have just sat and watched the whole thing. I find that this is something to throw on an chill out to. Keep up the great work!

Probably the best Unreal tutorial out there for animators and filmmakers. Perfect timing, perfect pacing, the right topics, the right approach. PERFECTION!!
