Apple's iOS is exclusive, but why not sell it to other OEMs too?

the reason iOS and MacOS is so secure is because of their lack of licensing to other companies. The more mass production of an OS, the more vulnerable it becomes to virus, phishing & other cyber attacks. I've never once gotten a virus on my Mac in 9 years.

and its also awesome to always have a grand company we ( Android users ) can compete, which is Apple
Imagine if Apple suddenly became open source and no body cared about the iPhones anymore it wont be fun anymore .

will get updates with new android software's after a year of launch in many flag ship phones, leave small category phones, that why i am planning shift to iphones so that i will get updates on time.

I'm an android guy since day one, I tried using iPhone once... I just couldn't then I switched back to android... Ios limits me in so many ways and things I can on an android without rooting it.... The only thing I like about IOS is their optimization... It is damn near smooth af.. Kudos to Apple for that

I was a Windows user from the first windows version. I am also a Android user from day 1. Last year I moved to Apple for almost all my devices and it’s really really very good and it was the best choice for us. It just works, have security on me one unlike windows and android

Samsung and other manufacturers taking Android for free with the conditions that it must include Chrome and other Google defaults is a very fair deal. It is absurd that someone would sue Google over that. It is a completely valid business model that is FAR better than Apple's business model of closing off all options and overpricing all of their products.

Because most people are in the apple ecosystem purely based on the iOS software, giving it away to other companies means people wouldn’t buy as many of their products
