OCD tells me I might get poisoned

OCD can make our kids doubt anything, but one that is particularly concerning is the fear they might get poisoned. This can be about chemicals, about smoke, about battery acid or just about anything else.

Some common compulsions around these OCD intrusive thoughts can include checking, reassurance seeking, avoidance and even holding their breath.
