I'm pulling for her since seeing the trailer for her original release was what got me interested in the game, but I wasn't able to pull her back then. It's probably not the best move for my account, since I have Yoimiya and several other pyro characters, but Hu Tao is just too cute for me to ignore.

I'd like Hu Tao, but I also really want to save for other characters that I really like. Personally, i just want to build people I like and I think that's the main factor that makes me want to pull for characters if I really really like them because I think all characters are viable as long as you play them right. So to conclude a bit, I only want to pull on someone because I love their character and I want to walk around with them exploring the map.

given that there are so many pyro DPSers already, the game may not introduce another Pyro DPS for banner for some time.. right now Diluc, Klee, Hu Tao, Yoimiya are all like good 5* dps. while Geo only has 2 5* units..soon to have 3rd. just saying if you want to skip Hu Tao for the next Pyro DPS to come along.. there may not be one until 2nd half of 2022.

There's no way I'm passing on her! I'm a little bored of playing my other pyros and personally don't like Xiangling. Looking forward to pairing her with Thoma and experiencing the power of the Staff of Homa! Pre-farmed all of her mats and a CW set (pain!) and will raise her to lvl 90 right away.

I’m pulling for her since my only pyro dps is Klee and I feel like I’ll be missing out on a lot of damage if I skip hu Tao, I’m already used to using charged attacks so she is pretty much for me

I personally would like to go for a geo character, it's sad that I will miss out on hutao, but I already have yoimiya and diluc and don't have a single geo unit built. I really like you considered the fact that people already have pyro units so they don't really need Hutao even if she's meta

From a meta perspective, the Spiral Abyss and most other content favors area damage characters like Ganyu, Xiangling, Xiao, Beidou, Ayaka, etc. Hu Tao is a single target DPS. If you are after improving your efficiency or you still need DPS to get 36 stars on Abyss, then Hu Tao is not the best choice.

Gonna skip Hu Tao this time around but hopefully on her next rerun I will be able to pull some constellations. Geo and hydro dps characters are needed way more than pyro currently
