Finally! Someone has made a video on Ash’s book. His books are very underrated and he did a great service for students looking to self learn mathematics. I have almost all of his books. I like his analysis book but i do prefer some of the shorter proofs from Rudin.
Regardless, its a great supplement!

I also recommend looking up “a primer on analysis” by Alan Sultan for a first book on analysis (has solutions to almost all problems)

I find this a great second book on analysis after Abbott's or Ross'.

I am currently doing point-set topology and find it fun.

My analysis course didn’t cover metric spaces much at all. It was just epsilon shenanigans on the set of real numbers. Darboux sums were covered though. The book was Ross’s Elementary Analysis. Okay, not too easy or hard, just sort of intermediate.

Also, on book price, screw paying $150+ for a copy of Bartle and Sherbert. Some analysis textbooks are way too expensive and that’s a tragedy.

Thank you Mathematical Toolbox for bringing our attention to this book. I will check it out. Since this book by Professor Ash is your favorite Dover Analysis Book, what is your take on "Intro to Real Analysis" By Kolmogorov and Fomin?
