Shotokan kata Heian Sandan, performed from three different angles for the benefit of students learning the kata.

I trained Karate for over 7 years, I knew every Kata and used to perform in local and even national championships in Brazil. Now I’m a father, I work full time and don’t have time to train, but I’d be more than happy if my son gets into it.

I have learnt for 2 years Karate and for 10 years Jiu Jitsu, but then I had some years break... So now started going for trainings back, now together with my kids ;) So I am practising Katas for my green belt confirmation exam (as I had green belt in Jiu Jitsu, made many years ago...), and this is VERY helpful! Especially with Youtube option to play it 0.25 speed ;)

I am 1st kyu. I have been out of practice for over a year and forgot much of the various kata that I learned. I would like to head back to class soon, but I am embarrassed to have forgotten so much. These videos help me, and my body, remember. My body remembers more than I thought. Just takes a bit of grinding to get the rust off. Thank you.
