Amazing idea! I just painted my ceiling and a small section blistered, similiar to what you showed in the video. I was freaking out, as I thought I would have to scrape the area and re-do it with texture. I just watched your video but I haven't done it yet. It seems like a perfect solution!! I was so relieved to see your solution!!!!

I just tried this, I did buy some smaller cheap little watercolor paintbrush to get under the pulled up pieces easier. Worked great! Thank you for the tip.

What a great tip. I painted my popcorn ceiling and I had a small peel. I don't plan to mess with replacement stuff but I wanted to seal the edges that were loose and then just gently paint to match. So this is perfect.

Great. I love ideas like this. I just finished painting some stain spots on my textured ceilings using some old dollhouse paint and a small paintbrush 😎 My husband thinks I'm nuts but when he saw it he said wow that really worked!

I would take down the popcorn texture. It's never a good idea in a bathroom. There is so much moisture in the air and you'll always have issues with it peeling off. You patch one area and it will peel in another area. The heaviness of the moisture will always loosen it. It's generally a small room so it's easy to take off.

I used the popcorn ceiling patched and blotted little areas with a brush but, as I was blotting, other pieces of the ceiling stuck to the brush and peeled more. Is there anything clear spray on glue I could use to keep those pieces from peeling before trying the patch texture again?

Thanks I just noticed a couple of spots like this in the bathroom. Was going to scrape the ceiling. I know eventually I will, but until then I am trying this. Wonderful 👏

Thanks for posting this. I would’ve never had the confidence to post something like this because I’d imagine all the purists calling me a hack, but most people don’t want to pay to have everything done the “right” way. I subscribed to your channel. I’m looking forward to seeing what else you got!

What about where a patch has already fallen and gone so it's flat in spots

That's great! Did you touch up the entire ceiling with paint or just the areas that you repaired?

Why have popcorn in restroom in the first place

Did you use an oil based product to go over the glue or a water base?

But colour doesn’t match. Do you need to paint it over later?

Simple and easy, but I never thought of it!

Thank you, this will be very helpful because I didn’t want to buy anything special!

Nice. I have a few spots throughout my house, and I really don't want to create a huge project patching it up. I'll give this a try :)

I'm looking at the purple walls, curved shower curtain rod, even the same light/fan and patch over the bathtub and it looks a lot how the bathroom in my new house is. I knew it wasnt it when I saw the toilet next to the bathtub
