How to apply homax popcorn ceiling patch quick and easy video review

I found that there was not enough popcorn stuff in the slurry. I tried the sprays and other products and this seems to work but again, if your popcorn is thicker, it won’t, but I found a solution. I put a blob of the product on a plate and let it dry completely. Then, I crumbled it up into pieces that look like the stuff on the ceiling, and then added it to more slurry before putting it up with a little spackle knife, and it worked perfectly.

Sweet, ... doing this now and THIS IS THE WAY! I tried to use a 4-inch roller, but it's not as straightforward or effective as this method. Thank you!

thanks for the video! quick question if you have time - I bought an older house, 1970, and in the kitchen there is an area, like 6 inches long, where a small crack has formed, but its just a separation of the popcorn texture from the ceiling, almost like the top layer is flaking off. My question is, would this product by good enough to apply if i just scraped off whats already falling off, or should i apply some drywall mud over that, and then this homax product?
