Make sure to properly connect that power connector to your gpu. You need to push pretty hard. If it's not properly connected it's a fire hazard. This was already a big issue with the 40 series and Nvidia still uses the same 12VHPWR connector. Good luck and hopefully your house doesn't burn down.
