The prices on these gpu’s are absolutely in-sane in Europe. You wont be able to get a new 4060ti 8gb under €500, and a 4060ti 16gb under €650.

They simply renamed the tiers. the 5050 is 5040, 5060 is 5050, the 5070 is the 5060 and so on. thats why the 5080 is 16gb and there's such a massive gap between the 5080 and 90.

Here in the netherlands shops have a lot of stock for the AMD rx9070xt. But the shops keep selling them at scalping pricing at 900~1100 euro (inc tax). I'm going to play the waiting game.

edit: I am talking about buying a new card like seen in this video. Yeah if you buy a used dirt cheap card, it can be justified.

4060 over the 3060 was marginal and I am expecting the 5060 to be even worst. WIth all the problems with PhysX, I would just recommend getting a 4060 over a 5060.

Once the scalpers get a hold of these "budget" cards, they will be going for $700-$800 easy. The problem isn't going to go away until the supply can meet the demand. It's simple economics.
