I don’t want Nvidia to completely have a monopoly over computer hardware. I hope someone like Qualcomm or another arm user could make something that can compete against intel/amd/nvidia because other then what Intel is doing with their graphics cards these days I am pretty much done with all three.

I think people in the comments don't understand the sheer brutally insane amount of talent pool and money Nvidia has right now. This isn't 2010s. They are the most valued company in the entire world. If Jensen plays his cards right, i garuntee that Nvidia can make at least above average CPU. Specially if they are going to just make a new package using TSMC fabs anyways. For context, people didn't really think, that of all companies, Apple, which was the most valued company at the time, would make their own chips successfully. They also had zero experience at making any cpu architecture on silicon. They did it. And they are, really really good chips.

Now that Nvidia removed 32bit PhysX Support on RTX 5000... maybe they'll include exklusive PhysX Support on their CPUs. That could give them a unique product.

I am not sure why this is such a big If it is just an ARM CPU, Nvidia has been making the over priced Jetson for Cool if they are trying to make a very powerful one. But it will be like any Windows on ARM, the software needs to be good to make it And yes, even your average Linux users too, because it is known that Nvidia is not even as good as AMD, let alone Intel's when it comes to software support and contributions.

Those guys are willing to compete, and not simply block the industry, or price-gouge the consumer.
