An animal-rights protester snatched Sen. Kamala Harris' microphone during a Democratic presidential candidates forum in San Francisco on Saturday before being escorted from the stage.

Instead of asking "where's the security?" maybe ask "where are 70% of the insect species that existed 100 years ago?" or "what's the leading cause of climate change, deforestation, and genocide of indigenous peoples in the global south", or "will my children survive the next century?", and maybe even, "why don't politicians like Kamala Harris want their constituents to be informed about what humanity needs to do to avoid destroying what's left of the human habitat?" 🤔

Many people might assume that teaching and nursing (two female-heavy jobs) are cushy. That's not necessarily true. Many teachers must go to work with the fear of being shot. If this were false, why would any person even THINK of having them take firearms to their classrooms. As for nursing, they must worry about getting infected, getting assaulted by angry or delusional patients. I even remember once when a nurse was body-slammed by a police officer in Utah because she was just doing her job.
