I Returned To Minecraft After 10 Years

Can I experience Minecraft as if it was my First time?

A kid places his first block, a man places his last. What do you feel when you hear this? - For me, the feeling of nostalgia takes over my body. It brings out memories of the past. Times without worry or problems, times when I didn’t have to do anything and just lived in the moment. Coming home from school, turning on the computer and loading my Minecraft world. The next hour would feel like a minute. Having no idea how to play the game, trying to figure out the crafting recipe for a piston, losing to a spider in the night and getting lost because I explored too far and didn’t know how to use the coordinates.

All of that… is gone. It’s simply the past. Now I have a grasp of Minecraft. I learned what you’re supposed to do, I can easily survive the night and I figured out how to use F3. There isn’t that feeling of the unknown anymore, I’m not ecstatic when I find diamonds - I’ve found them a billion times. I’m not scared of the nether, I know exactly what to expect. What if I could forget? What if there was a way for me to experience the Craft as if it was my first playthrough? How can I achieve that feeling, despite playing for over 10 years? - At first, my answer was: “well obviously you can’t… I mean it’s impossible to be a kid again, there’s just no way I can forget how to play”... but after thinking about it for a while I’ve got an idea.

When he said "minecarts were so popular back then that every house always had a rollercoaster" a huge nastolgic memory hit me about how i loved making rollercoasters in minecraft... it wasnt even beta or alpha it was only 1.8.2.... that made me have memories on my xbox 😢

I used to minecraft pocket in 2017. After I discover there is a java edition I moved to it in 2020 cuz everyone said it better. But when I found out you can turn off background music in java edition by one click I used to turn it off. But today when I looked at this. I felt like memories taking over me. I wish I still was in 2017.

The nightmares kept happening because of insufficient shelter, or the sheltered places weren't brightly lit enough.
(There was also a bug in some beta & older versions where double-doors invalidated a shelter, thus also guaranteed nightmares.)
Beautiful video. Very unique approach to go backwards in time ("upgrading/updating" versions in this case should've probably been called "downgrading/downdating". That last one probably isn't a real word, but I think it should be, LOL).

I wish I didn't delete my first world, i did because I got lost, died, and couldnt find my stuff, and out of rage deleted the world. If only I knew how to hit the button to turn on coordinates...

(Yes my first experience of minecraft was on bedrock)

i began to play Minecraft in 2014 . In 2021, I still play Minecraft, but it’s different from before.I really miss the old vision (0.14.0 iOS pocket edition), but I don’t know how to download old vision.

For myself I dont know the Vanilla Game. I started the Game a year ago with Bedrock then Moved to Conquest Reforged in Creative mod. And I dont want to stop that.
