Can we appreciate, how he did not only learn German, but also learned proper "German accent speaking English"? I believe for a native English speaker, that's kinda tough to learn.

The most embarrassing thing I said as a newly-landed international student is I referred to everyone as my friend! In German, my friend means my boyfriend, all other friends are referred to as 'a friend'. They don't teach such important things at language schools, you need 'a German friend' to learn this.

If you really want to confuse people: “man sieht sich”. Roughly translates as “one will see each other again”
