Pain Blocker needs to be paired with a good enough user for it to be effective, just like every other Quirk. Even the strongest Quirks in the series need capable users 🫡

Pains pretty important though. It tells us something important is being damaged. It also serves to make us more careful, since we want to avoid the feeling.

If 13 was the mc, the anime would have ended in season 1.

Yo Shindo's vibrate quirk is Also surprisingly underrated. He can cause massive amounts of devastation if he gets creative.

Pain blocker is honestly a disadvantage in real life unless you can turn it off on will

Bro pain blocker would practically make you in all fights in real life imagine your fighting someone and they just don’t feel anything

There are disorders people have in the real world that doesn't allow them to feel pain. Unless you've got insane durability or armor like Gigantomachia, not feeling pain might actually be a huge drawback in the long run.

Thirteen explicitly chose to not be a combat hero because of how dangerous her quirk is; she's all too aware of how easy it is to accidentally kill someone with a power like that, and murking villains is generally frowned upon in MHA.

The parasite music in the back kills me inside 🥲

Essentially inko's quirk is good too if it has no limits, bruh imagine casually compressing someone into a bloody pill without even moving, badass.

Fun fact: pain blocker is actually a real medical condition (obviously it’s not called pain blocker but it does the same thing) and it actually causes a lot of problems for whoever has it as they have to be extremely cautious with everything that they do, like when the wake up they have to check their entire body to make sure they didn’t hurt themselves in their sleep or something.😊

My mom used to tell me a story about one of her friends who had a Cognital insensitivity to pain, basically meaning he didn’t feel any pain at all. He was a varsity football starter because he always just got right back up even after the hardest hits but one game he got his leg snapped nearly in half, he spent a good minute trying to stand before he even noticed his leg was broken. All that to say, not feeling pain would not be an advantage.

pain nullification is generally not something you want in life, unless you can control when to use it
pain tells us when something in our body goes wrong, for example if you stub your toe, bite your tongue or is touching something hot
there have been cases where people have a neurological defect that stops them from feeling pain and they get bruised, battered and bleed so much but they dont know it and wont try to stop it from happening
this could be fatal if you had an illness that you dont know about
its basically like covering up your HP bar in a video game, you wont know when you are low hp

thay guy from 1-b who can attach shit ton ppl if he touches the object he wants attached and the person he wants to attach it to has always been my favourite underrated quirk

Pain blocker is weird, because there is a limit to what you out your body through even if you cannot feel it. It’s like getting lit on fire by someone else using a flame quirk sure you can move freely but that would last maybe a few seconds before your body starts deteriorating
