That's a basic argument. A lot of people had a lot of ideas about how the universe works and how the sun went around the Earth and some other people believe that the turtles held up the earth and other people believe that atlas held up the Earth. But somebody said that the Earth goes around the Sun and that person was correct and everybody else was wrong. That's how everything is, everybody can't be right.

This is a pretty bad question. Looking at likelihoods as evidence is all together insufficient. The likelyhood of our existence is so miniscule, yet it happens to be true. It is more likely that nothing should've evolved.
The better way is doing what we do with languages and applying that to religion and asking the question, when/where did religion start.

If we actual Christians are wrong (not the people who say they are Christian), then we have lived our lives by a moral set of rules to the best of our ability including loving all people and generous giving to charity - so no harm done. But if atheists are wrong... (shudder!) let's just say I wouldn't want to face a perfect, holy, all powerful, all knowing God while still in my sin... to end up separated from God in a place of complete darkness and torment for all eternity. It seriously bears seriously thinking about.

A better question is! How did Christianity overcome many other religions and philosophical views in its startup? How is it possible that Christianity has lasted longer than many empires, cultures, languages, and philosophies? Everything is a social construct! Pointing out that something is a social construct doesn't make it a bad thing! A better question is! Which construct will maximize your life to the highest good? Than you might say what is the highest good?
Dr. Jordan Peterson has layout the simplistic celebrity atheist arguments. Most of the celebrity atheist just have father issues from their childhood and project their issues onto religion. They haven't done the reflection of their own unconscious bias account to see the contradictions in their analysis.

Well not all beliefs are created equal and make the same claims. We have more historical reference that Jesus lived than any other in history (if you count the vast amount of copies of the gospels). It is a historically grounded book (the Bible) Luke in particular wrote that way. It's not an odds game. If you took that same view with science, we don't take majority rule but follow the evidence. I hope this man goes on a similar journey as Lee strobel and finds the compelling evidence for the life and death and resurrection of christ
