I produce Elec. music for 20+ years and I love that I can learn new things or just new (for me) technical approach to DAW workflow. Great video, subscribed!

Kshmr says to cut the frequency of where the kick hits that way the sub frequency sits on the kick like a glove. Also helps to use Lfo tool/shaper box to get them shaped together smoothly

Sick song and video as always 🙏 just a quick tip that I know you know Alex but others may be mislead by what you said, the bottom note of your chords isn’t ALWAYS the best note for your bass only because some people may make inverted chords on accident and therefore the bottom note may be a different note than intended but the notes still won’t be wrong by any means it just may hit differently in different notes of the scale so just always take everything with a grain of salt and experiment and most importantly have fun :)

Also a tip: for the ableton users> use a kick tight effect on your sub bass, this will make it boom like fuck. Its stock plugin, learnt this trick from NURKO
