Stunning (as usual) The skill is phenomenal. Not just the playing, but the arrangement, everything about it. Amazing music from an amazing musician.

In 1968 way before your gift was born, I learned to play an electric fretless bass before. That wasn't heard of that I know of. I thought myself to play the guitar with a missing left index finger. You are gifted. I can't play anymore because of hand issues. But you bring tears to my eyes with your unbelievable talent. Thank you so much for sharing this gift you have. Beautiful. I would love to see you play the fretless electric bass.

I swear most of these demos have better music than most of the stuff out there

Charles, the way you play these insane high skill compositions, and yet manage to make them so musical and genuinly great to listen to, it's amazing.

I’m not kidding: this is The most funky thing I’ve heard. I enjoyed the performance and how you made it sound like a high-end ‘90’s keyboard mixed with a regular 4-string electric bass-guitar. Some of it might be that natural ringing echoed harmonic sound made by it being a 12-string. Some of it is your talent and interesting approach to this vid. No matter what I think of it, I like it. Funk on!

Полный восторг от звучания и от мастерства исполнителя. Бас дает столько " мяса", что один заменяет группу. Класс!! 😊👍

Love that you are playing a Doug “Dug” Pinnick model! King’s X is criminally underrated and have influenced so many popular musicians and bands

Your skills keep consistently impressing everyone, but I appreciate how you're always keeping things fresh. You've only been this famous for a bit, but it seems you got the mechanics of YouTube very quickly. You don't fall back on your skills, you keep surprising and innovating. I hope you can keep it going, I'm really impressed.

Goose bumps. I knew these existed, but never consciously heard one. It's like the crème Brulé of bass tones. Thanks, Charles!

Charles, I can’t begin to say how much I simply love the fact you’re playing a dUg Pinnick model 12-string. He and I used to play Hamer Chapparal USA 12s, but he got a deal. I have been very lucky to have opened for King’s X a few times when they were touring through NJ back in the 1990s. Such terrific people, incredible players and composers! I hope dUg gets to see his model 12 being used in a manner not thought of previously. Way to hit a hike run again! Yes, I KNOW how difficult physically it is to play a 12 and you’ve mastered it far beyond everyone. Look for me if you wish a the cover of 12-string Bassist magazine in 2007-2008. I share the cover with a skilled female 12 string bassist.
