Indoor cycling in the past decade has changed a lot. Years ago, we didn’t have interactive spinning bikes, and data such as power wasn’t as common as it is today. In modern times, we also like to share our workouts with others, and a great way to do that is with the Strava application.

Many of our lovely subscribers and readers ask us some amazing questions, and one that seems to come up all the time is, “How do I record indoor cycling on Strava?” In this video, we will be telling you multiple methods to do so.

Thanks for the video. It's sad that Strava does not offer indoor cycling or treadmill. I always add it manually, but as you mentioned Strava does not track any proper data there.

Does workout allow you to input miles pedalled post workout?

Hi, I am planning to buy a bike roller and an igpsport bsc100 with cadence, heart and speed monitors. Then would it be 2:54 possible for me to record my indoor rides?

What would happen if you just turned your bike computer on record with your heart rate monitor on? There would be no speed but there would be watts, cadence and heart rate.

Choosing 'workout' does not allow you to enter your miles at the end of the session. You might as well just create a manual entry [as that allows full edit of all fields] after making a note of your session stats. Strava is very limited in tat respect.

So basically there is no way. Man Strava is stupid. Not even Volleyball is in it
