I’ve had my focusrite solo for about a year now, wanted to see how I could get better results and this is genuinely the most helpful video I’ve ever seen

Super helpful rundown of some very useful basics as I get started with this audio interface and didn't understand any of the settings or where to start. This video helps enormously - thank you!

I had mines for 3 years and never knew about this (beginner too audio equipment) this audio engineer guy recommended I get an Apollo after I showed him my songs I mixed and mastered myself, he did say it sounded clean though.

Thank you so much! I stopped using it after buying it because it would only playback on one side and couldn't find how to fix it any where! Thank you!

Dude, awesome vid, straight to the point, detailed and gives just the right amount of information instead of going on long tangents. Can't wait to get my Focusrite in the mail, I just rebuilt and tuned my guitar after having stopped playing for years, I got the itch to get right back into my "timewasting" hobby so I ditched all my physical pedals and amps and went full software/amp emulation mode.

This is so helpful, I have had a scarlet for 2 year but never recorded anything because I had to much latency and didn’t know how to fix it. I alway thought it was my DAW. Thanks so much for the tips 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Thanks for this. I bought this for my podcasting mic and I was in way over my head. I only figured out the gain knob by accident :D

As you skipped a step, here's one. Don't install the official Focusrite drivers! Use the Windows ones. If you use the Focusrite drivers you will end up with very low volume levels on your mic input. The Windows drivers solves this. You will however not have an official ASIO driver for your DAW, but you can at least decide. Focusrite will not fix this. The latest drivers from Focusrite still does not fix the issue.
