I’ve had so many motorcycles over the years from 1927 Nortons to 80s classics and now I ride a BMW R 1150 GS Adventure my dream motorcycle the bike that inspired me watching Lrw shy and introverted to dream of getting my motorcycle licence when I was older, after lots of different bikes I’ve come back to the GS n GSA every time since my first gsa 1200 in 2015 an now the 1150GSA it’s like coming home.

What would really help us 1150 owners out BMW would be access to being able to buy service tools for the FD etc and for other things and most importantly the service manual,

nothing says BMW reliability like our 1150’s putting on the miles and people seeing them on the road doing trips after all this time, unfortunately I could only get the first part of the rep rom from my local BMW dealer which just covers service intervals lots of us who own them are very handy with our hands and it’s something that we should all have access to no matter the year of GS and GSA.

The ability to get the correct BmW service manual for our 1150GSA twin sparks would be great as they start to approach needing more in depth work rather than relying on third party info.

It’s the one thing that puts me off the new GSA the lack of availability on service manuals from what I’ve read and when I had my 1200gs te Rallye

It’d be cool to see that done with the Japanese companies putting a real focus on supporting the older now classic bikes via manuals and nla part reproduction like stuff like the off road stopper set that I can’t get which has stopped me using one of my panniers, just an idea :)

The 1300GS is very fast. The acceleration out of curves is awesome. Currently I have the Metzler M9RR mounted.
