For those who don't know, the center stand is NOT eletric. It's just that the eletronic suspension makes it easier to put the motorcycle on the sidestand. The sound you hear is from the suspension, not the sidestand.

I ride a 1250 GS. After a day riding and i pull up at Starbucks for a coffee and im tired i simply flick out the side stand. Then hop off and go and sit down with my modular helmet on sipping coffee. 😂😂

The bike does NOT have a powered centerstand. What you're hearing is the preload motors in the suspension because this bike has adaptive ride height, which raises the suspension slightly when you put down the centerstand. The centerstand works normally like any bike. This video has created so much misunderstanding.

Funny starbucks comments. I use my center stand on my '21 GS everytime i wash the bike. Its ridiculously hard and a pain in the foot! I welcome the new stand!! But i heard the new gs suspension is very very stiff. Count me out til that changes. The comfort factor allows me many more miles before fatigue abd inflammation finish my ride.

Like the electric assist. My R1150GS is ridiculously difficult to place on the center stand.
