Best ALDI Food Find EVER?! Weekly ALDI Grocery Haul August 2024

Показать описание
Come into ALDI with me see what I bought for a week of groceries for my family of 5. I always use items from my pantry/freezer as well. I share my dinner meal plan at the end.
Also, I do NOT buy my groceries exclusively at ALDI, but they're the first place I try and my favorite to shop at.
Recipes:
Fried Rice: 1:1 ratio of cooked jasmine rice and cauliflower rice. I don't really follow a recipe, but I add the rices to avocado oil on the blackstone and toss with the mixed veggies. Season to smell/taste with soy sauce, pepper, butter, jar minced garlic and salt if needed (unlikely due to soy sauce). At the very end I like to drizzle with sesame oil. SO YUMMY
Steak on Blackstone: I chop and cook the steak in avocado oil until no longer pink. Then at the end add the Japanese BBQ sauce for a few minutes (we especially like the spicy bbq)
Breakfast Sandwiches: toast english muffins, stack with fried egg, slice of cheese and cooked bacon
Panini: Basically a filled grilled cheese! I LOAD mine with many toppings, basil, honey mustard, spinach, deli meat, cheese slices, artichoke, etc. Toast on two pieces of buttered panini bread (or any bread!)
Corn on the Cobb: remove husk and silk, chop in half and add to boiling pot. Boil until BRIGHT yellow! Remove from water, slather in butter, salt & pepper. 🤤 I like to grill it, too... but my kids prefer boiled.
