I just bought a Y. I needed a car now not whenever. 1.99% financing and the $7500 rebate was good enough for me.

400 miles of range on Y would be the ultimate game changer. Model S has had 400 miles of range with the 100kwh pack for a decade using 18650 batts. With the lighter weight of the Model Y and all the efficiency improvements how can they not get 400 miles on Y with an 85kwh pack. Batt prices have come down tremendously and all legacy brands are cutting EV production so their are plenty of extra batts available from chinese/korean suppliers. I think range is more important than performance for the average car buyer, so I'd even like to see a 100kwh pack with LFP-based chem. It might be a little heavier and not accelerate quite as fast, but range should go up near 400 miles and those iron-based batts can be charged to 100% and have a longer lifespan. Doesn't even sound like a controversial choice on any level. At least add that as an option for another 3k. I guarantee a "Dual motor, Ultra-long Range" variant would be a smash hit!

Cooled seats and zero percent financing for 72 months

Better battery range, quieter ride, quality paint as opposed to the cheesy paint job they do now, and real fit and finish quality checks before it leaves the factory.. I don't care about LED interior lights or new tail lights. If Elmo wants me to buy a current Model Y he needs to cough up some real incentives: 1 year free super charging, 1 year free connectivity, a charger connector kit ( like the ones they used to include), double the military discount and stop charging extra for exterior paint color and interior color seats. Otherwise he can eat all of that extra inventory sitting around.

If Tesla continues to allow buyers to transfer FSD and offers FREE Supercharging for at least 1-Year PLUS, either ventilated seats or free paint upgrade… then I’d pull the trigger on purchasing a new Model Y now!

Faster charging. They should be at the same level or better than KIA which has some great charging speeds currently with the Kia EV6, 9 and Ioniq 5.

In my opinion and I think this is safe to say, absolutely nothing is changing besides maybe some very minor price cuts prior to the refresh that won’t even hit the US market till mid next year (minimal)

As someone who recently switched to the model Y because of a low financing option, I would do it again. I took part of the 0.99% financing in May. We'll worth the jump.

why is the ambiant lighting such a big deal? I think it would just be a distraction or too bright... maybe cause I never had it.... I am concerned the X will be too big, so might wait for Juniper, but I really like the air suspension.. and cooled seats! I want the quick silver free with some incentive. What I would like is better suspension, double glazed windows, better sound proofing all the new lighting and exterior changes will be good as well. More range and keep price close to what it is now.

More range and FSD (for free) would be nice. Otherwise I am going to wait for the new model Y. Isn't it possible to apply the newest batteries on the current model Y?
