Somewhere around 100 years ago - a little less - my grandfather became aware of a Communist cell in his town, and reported them to the FBI. Arrests followed. He was a Post Office clerk and had been a carrier, so I expect he had access to a lot of random information. When I was in the USPS, one of the clerks identified the PO Box of one Ron Karenga, Black activist suspected of criminal activities. At some point, he was convicted of torture and false imprisonment, and served time in prison. To this day, he maintains his innocence. I guess prison got him off drugs and into studying, and he is a prominent scholar, and the inventor of Kwanzaa.

While I understand the desire to want to question the government, a lot of these behaviors to watch for are very clearly terroristic behaviors (or that which will easily lead up to it). There's nothing overtly overreaching in this (other than the "objective" thing that I mentioned earlier). I'm guessing the overreach, if it happens, will come in from the application of the guidelines, rather than the guidelines themselves.

This stuff describes Antifa/BLM very well and will certainly result in many being reported. But it sucks having to even think about the possibility that they might not be of interest.
