Context for those who don't know:
Andres Escobar was a well-known Colombian defender in football/soccer. He was one of the best players at that time. In the 1994 World Cup, he scored an own goal against the United States, which caused them to lose the match. For a while, he was receiving much backlash from Colombians. When he went to a nightclub with his friends at around 3AM. He was shot 6 times by the Colombian mafia and they still walk around free to this day.
