Some Chicago residents are not pleased with DNC protest route

The route for the protest march during the Democratic National Convention goes right past many Near West Side residents' homes. Sara Machi reports.

Having all these belligerent, screaming, fiery, but mostly peaceful protesters walking thru one's neighborhood all day would be a nightmare. All the while they will not even get close to the very criminals they are claiming to protest.

Can't say I blame them. I wouldn't want to be near a "fiery but mostly peaceful" protest either. Hopefully the residents are armed and not afraid to let the protesters know it.

We see what these so called "peaceful protesters" do to official government buildings in towns and corporate areas, imagine them having free-range in homeowner's neighborhoods where they're responsible for their own property and don't have money for big lawyers to threaten anyone who gets too close....
