Just think, the police have the power to put their men on the trains, NOT let them on the trains & confiscate their bags as they get off the trains. Besides putting surveilance cameras in the train stations, on the trains & buses, posting known pictures thru out the stations. With all the videos catching the actual crime taking place as well as WHO is committing the crime; their is really no excuse for them not to do their job & protect the tourist & the own people. So in effect, they give permission to the pickpockets to commit these crimes, & they will look the other way instead of deporting the offenders, the citizens should form their own security teams & TAKE THOSE BAGS & administer a little
"Street Justice"! One good turn deserves another.
