Почему хотя бы в метро не объявляет об опасности что могут украсть. Политики Рима на метро не ездят, вот им и не интересны наши кошельки 😮

Just got my wallet stolen at the station. One girl was blocking my way from entering the station, the other one just took it out from the pocket. She went to buy 500 dollar worth of perfumes using credit card and was declined. Make sure you have limits set on the card especially you are travelling.

We were at the tower in Pisa and a group of Gypsies surrounded us, three women and at least eight children. One of the kids was holding a fast food cup and dribbled what looked like watery mustard on my husband’s shoe. The women went full soap opera, pretending to scold the child as one dug for a rag in her purse. From the corner of my eye, I saw a smaller child move like a ghost to my husband’s backside and slip his fingers into my husband’s pockets. We knew better than to leave valuables in easily accessible places so they left empty handed. They had their tactics down though and it was crazy to see them in action.

they are gypsies from Romania. they have done this in Romania for decades.. and the countries of Western Europe complained that they are not integrated into society.. especially France. integrated you now. success!!

Many thieves, pickpockets, and criminals roaming the streets in broad daylights and they don’t have a care in the world and have no shame whether they are caught or being watched. That’s very scary. Once I was touring Rome with a ex usmc dude that I got acquaited with in the Hotel lobby. I had toured Rome many times before so I showed the city to the man. We had a great time like we were all time buddies. We grabbed a taxi around 11pm to head back to the Hotel. I told the old man that the taxi was giving us the run arounds and be alert. The driver pulled from the highway into a very dark Road and my buddy and I automatically unbuckled our seatbelts as if on cue and got ready to fight. As soon as the driver saw our reaction he immediately turned around back into the highway saying "Ho svariato Ho svariato"... Rome can be sketchy if you are not careful.

Had them in London, Trafalgar Square (pick pocket), years back New years celebrations a guy tried to pick my pocket literally caught his hand inside of my pocket and nearly broke his fingers place was so jam packed that I couldn’t walk with him to the police (his hand still in my pocket trapped by me ) so I had to let him go but just like me I bet he still remembers the pain today if his still alive.

At the Coliseum we were in a tour which took us around the outside on the opposite side of the street. There was just enough room for people to pass us along the fence at roadside. Two girls passed by me on my right and then a third with a sweater hanging off her left arm ( my right side where my purse was and had nothing in it except my glasses). I felt the sweater on my elbow and I turned around and glared at her. She kind of giggled the way you would if you felt sheepish and got caught. She got caught red handed. I didnt say anything but warned the rest of the group to be aware. She would have only gotten glasses which would have been upsetting to me but not devastating. I would have been angry but I chalk it up to learning. You just have to be on your toes and aware of your surroundings.

I travel a lot. Thieves have picked my pocket more than once but I have a decoy wallet with fake U S dollars in it with other junk. I wonder what they thought when they saw what was in it.😅

Something like this happened when I visited Cinque Terre a couple of years back too. Girl stopped the train door from closing while elderly folk in a tour group were targeted. Still, Italy is gorgeous. Just need to be alert, as you would anywhere.

Decided to spring for the ‘Pickpocket proof Pants’ online, they’re indeed harder to have things pinched off you, as well as keeping stuff from just slipping out of your pockets when standing up. Got the shorts too. Keep in mind they’re a deterrent, am always checking pockets & looking around anyway. I recommend them though.
