I bought a cheap $16 R06 Q ring on AliExpress, and it does most of these things and last about 6 days. I was wanting the Galaxy ring so I decided to buy a cheap ring and see if I even liked this form of wearable. Wearing rings is somewhat annoying but I wanted the tracking while my watch recharges 2 or 3 times a day. Now I question why I'd spend $399 when $16 ring does all I want i to.

Even before hearing about "smart rings", I had been thinking of something similar (a bracelet, ring..). Purely to keep from losing my phone-- tether the phone to the bracelet, and if separated by more than say 15 feet, the bracelet would vibrate (or chirp). Any suggestions?
