Feral cats aren't this chill. That is a neighborhood stray that has chosen their forever home 😁

Years ago I bought a small farm and it came with 50 cats for free. This was before licky treats. I used deli meat to trap and neuter and eventually was able to pet most of them.

it’s genuinely so rewarding when a feral cat grows from fearing you slightly at first meeting to pretty much instant purring when they see you.

I've had 2 related(probably) feral cats visiting my back garden every day for the past few months now. I feed them regularly and can pat them, they sometimes enter the house too.

❤ What precious little bwd warmers these beautiful cats are for you. I hope you will always love them, share you gifts with others to help them learn to help feral cats and kittens feel trust and safety living in your home and to become able to share their live freely. ❤

This is awesome, there has been a Feral cat hanging around my place for the last several days. It is very curious of me and keeps getting a bit closer each day but will not let you touch it, if you try to walk to it then it takes off a way to keep a small distance. It just meows and meows, rolls around on the ground and then will circle me over and over looking at me. How did you take the 2 here any advice?

They just need love and care. Thank you. I wish feral people were as "easy" to tame. You're a kind person at heart. We appreciate 🙏 🙌 💙

Those seem like strays. The feral cats over her would never. They just stare, run and occasionally fight each other.

Looks like you have two very comfy kittens. Grey Tabbies are especially good at this.

Feral cats do NOT just move in and allow one to pet them. depending on the age of the kitty and the personality of the cat, it can take years of quiet patience and consistency to get them to trust you. The older they are, the more time it can take. My feral, Bright Eyes, has been living with me for over 3-1/2 years (she had been severely beaten and could not be TNRed). She is at the point where she will sleep next to me on the sofa, purr, takes treats from my hand, will SOMETIMES let me rub her tummy, but I think if I ever tried to pick her up, I would need stitches. Maybe a while

I know a stray cat who looks just like that and he’s my bestie. I wish he would move in with me we would be the duo of the century!!

I have taken in feral cats that had no human contact other than me. Most were spitting fury kittens while a couple were young adults who took years to even touch. Cats are savvy but opportunistic as well. They would go for a bowl of food rather than wasting energy on a hunt that might not be successful.

You ever notice cats look and behave almost exactly like mountain lions only smaller?

They literally self-tamed... Once again, cats are self-taming
